Remember North?
A few years ago, he was found in a ditch at the side of the road in Diego Martin: likely the victim of a car accident.
He had lost the use of his back legs due to neurological damage from his trauma.
With intensive care and physiotherapy over months, he was nursed back to health by our dedicated staff and volunteers and even regained the use of his back legs!
He lived a sweet life, made even sweeter with his companion Honey.
He was a friend to all, loved to run wild, loved his treats, but best of all loved his Honey.
Sadly, he succumbed to complications of kidney failure this year.
We remember the good life he lived from the moment he was rescued.
We remember the smiles that he brought to anyone he met.
