VOLUNTEER

Volunteering at Animals Alive is one of the best ways you can meet other like-minded people with the same enthusiasm for animal welfare.

4. helping us keep up with an endless list of maintenance tasks

Anyone who loves animals can volunteer at Animals Alive & we are specifically looking for:

​

  • Students looking to get involved in Community Service

  • Working adults looking to get involved in Community Outreach

  • Retirees who want to get involved in a wellness programme 

  • Veterinarians willing to volunteer their expertise

  • Photographers willing to capture magical moments at Animals Alive

  • Skilled persons who can give of their time like welders plumbers, painters, general construction, landscapers

Volunteering is usually done on weekends between 10am & 2pm

Parents are welcome to participate or hang out while kids participate

Walk with lots of water & snacks.....treats for dogs & cats are welcomed too!

Remember sun protection! Hats, sunblock, sneakers/ boots & long pants

You must be in good health (no flu symptoms).

You must be willing to work with others & follow instructions.

Please refrain from littering, shouting or causing distress to the animals you interact with.

Your first visit would be on a Sunday & you would be required to obtain your Volunteer handbook ($100.00), which provides important information & allows you to log & certify your activities.

Please respect our ban on taking pictures/videos and posting on social media.
